King/Queen of the Hill 31st May

The annual Castle Hill Time Trial is being held Sunday the 31st of May. Racing is scheduled to start at 8.00am, but you will need to register before hand so turn up around 7.30am. It is a closed road and will be run in conjunction with the Townsville Road Runners King/Queen of the Hill fun run. Once the last runners are off the hill, we will get things started. Start at base of Castle Hill Rd.
Novi cover for unlicensed riders.
Racing will commence on completion of the Townsville Road Runners "King of the Castle".
Riders must be registered before 07:30.

Pre race briefing 07:40, for a possible 08:00 race start.
Helpers will be required at the start line, on traffic control and finish line.Traffic controllers will be required at the top of Gregory St from 6am to help out the road runners.

Presentations will be held in Tennis Assoc car park in Paxton street after race.

Tropicabs is a new Pedicab business that is starting up in Townsville next week and they are looking for riders for casual shifts. Mostly the work is in the evenings and on weekends and would suit people who are keen to ride and make some extra cash.

Tropicabs is a new Townsville pedicab taxi and tour service that will be operating in the CBD and along the Strand.


We are looking for Riders for our business.


Hopefully we can find some interested riders. The only real criteria is that they need to have a drivers licence and be over 18.

New velodrome keys for eligible club members PDF Print E-mail

Ruswin Security will be changing all locks at Velodrome on Tuesday 19/05/09.
New keys will be available for members from 7:00pm Tuesday night.
A $15.00 per key deposit will be required.
