Hi everyone!! Friday October 2nd is international LIVESTRONG day.. A
day where the world unites to help raise awareness and fund and offers
support those affected by cancer..
In memory of this day a please join us on the below bunch ride..
When: 0530AM Friday October 2nd 2009
Where:
Meet at OFF N ON BIKES Corner of Ross River Rd and Balls Lane
Mundingburra - The ride will follow a mostly flat round trip to The
Strand via Town..
If you have something yellow to wear even better!!!
During the day there will be a Sausage Sizzle held at OFF N ON BIKES
form 12pm - 2pm and 4pm - 530pm.. Grab a Sausage and cold drink for
lunch or on the way home from work...

Nick Gates Classic
Strap on your boots cause the Nick Gates Classic is on again and thanks to major sponsor, Cavalier Homes, a nice little prize purse of $3000 is on offer for the elite race. It will be held on the picturesque Strand once again over the same course that the big guns rode on last year. Nominations for the elite category are online only at www.qld.cycling.org.au.
We are also running a support event for all of us mortals to enjoy the full road closure and spectacular scenery. Juniors are also catered for and will be the first to roll off. Nominations for these two categories will be taken on the day so be early. Racing starts at 2.30pm and concludes around 5pm.
This will lead into Sundays TP Human Capital Corporate Triathlon where a record number of teams have registered and will be one of the norths biggest events.
"The corporate team triathlon is an event promoting teamwork, a healthy workforce, corporate health and maintaining a work/life balance. The event is an opportunity for workmates or friends to participate in a social atmosphere outside of the workplace, while promoting a healthy, active lifestyle. This year's event will be bigger and better than ever and we look forward to seeing you and your team at our new location on The Strand."
