Junior Racing Naturally the Club is particularly interested in building it's Junior Development program with the aim of encouraging many more younger people to particip1ate in the sport. The Club has recently started Introductory training sessions on Saturday afternoons to allow people to try out cycling. Coaches are on hand and the sessions are not limited to Juniors - parents can try too! In fact, cycling can be very much a family sport. This club has a very healthy Masters (over 35 years) grade, and quite often there are many family members in the sport. This fact is recognized nationally, as Junior National Events are often held simultaneously with Masters Events. Safety We take safety seriously in all respects . . . Track Cycling: Junior riders must sign-off on an short Introductory Program before being allowed to race. Road Cycling: All racers are escorted by clearly marked vehicles. Road racing is subject to Police Permits.
